Come join us for a fun and educational Arbor Day event at Bell Rock Cemetery! Learn about the importance of trees in our community, participate in tree planting activities, and interact with Malden's Tree Warden to gain valuable insights into tree care and maintenance. This in-person event is a great opportunity to connect with nature learn about natural solutions for climate resiliency and environmental protection. Don't miss out on this chance to make a positive impact on the environment!

Kate Kennon of Offshoots Landscape Architecture will talk about trees and the importance for climate resiliency at the Malden River Works Waterfront Park. The landscape plan includes planting over 200 trees and native plants in addition to tree preservation. Chris Rosa, Malden's Tree Warden, will talk about the city's initiatives with tree selection and planting. On May 10th, participants will plant trees of Bell Rock Cemetery's time period.
